Dear Ones,
This morning in chapel Jerry told the students that he would have you pray for them during exam week and that he would be sending you pictures of them.  They were more than happy to hear that someone was praying for them!  Jerry finished the 2 part series on Biblical Submission that Tim had asked him to do.  It is our understanding that mob rule reigns supreme in Africa and that the students view themselves as "one tribe".  It is not uncommon for students in secular universities to ban together and shut it down when they are displeased with an administrative decision.  Oh wait a minute, sounds like what has happened in many an Institution Of Higher Learning in the good old USA.  But please pray that God's Word would supersede cultural traditions for these Christian students in this area and so many others.

We took an early morning walk and swung by the gym to see the progress that was being made since the nails arrived. The gym will be an important generator of income for ABU as groups rent out the campus facilities during the off months.  Having the big gym will enable them to accommodate much larger groups.  The bag that the nails came in showed evidences of being examined by the TSA.  Since the bag was extremely heavy although being quite small, maybe they were concerned about some kind of foul play.

We will be attending a banquet tomorrow evening for those graduating.  Please pray for much grace for Tim as he is having to deal with many of God's sovereignly appointed difficulties regarding graduation activities.

Thankful to be serving with you in Christ,

Jerry & Marg
