Dear Ones:
Last night the first African Bible University Pastor’s Conference began with well over a hundred men in attendance.

They hope that by God’s grace it might become an annual meeting.
There were men there from eleven countries.  There are eight from Africa: Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda and from three other countries which are Canada, Scotland and the United States.

Here is the website where you can see the schedule along with the pictures of the speakers and their biographies.

Please pray for Jerry in his four sermons over the next three days that he would be able to connect with this mixed audience and that God would use His word for the purpose of encouraging these men and building His church.
Marg’s counseling course is entitled “What Women Need Most Is The Gospel” and today it was specifically about the gospel.  The women received it well and were very interactive.  Please pray that the reality of these truths would personally impact each of the women.  They requested that we would thank you for your help in supporting the class and sending their teacher.

Thankful to be serving with you in Uganda,
Jerry & Marg
