Dear Ones:

We thought we’d let you know what our schedule has been this week now that the Pastor’s Conference and the Counseling Course have started. We usually get up between 5:30 and 6:00 am to prepare for the day.  Jerry meets with the speakers of the conference for prayer at 7:30 am and then the conference goes from 8:00 am till lunch at 1:00.  The Women’s Counseling Class starts at 8:30 am and also goes until 1:00.  Of course, there is the all-important tea break for all at 10:00 am (British influence). There is an afternoon break, which is most welcome. Jerry goes back from 4:30 till 5:40 pm to be part of a panel discussion and back at the house at 6:00 p.m. to where we are staying where we have been hosting a dinner for the speakers and their wives.  Then at 7:00 the men are at it again, hearing two more sermons!

Marg’s class has had 23 so far, which is wonderful considering the inadequate advertising and the schedule confusion in the beginning.  The Lord has powerfully answered the prayers for guidance, direction, and help for Marg.  She couldn’t be more pleased with how the class has progressed and how the women have participated and responded to the class.

She has had several pastors say they wish they could take the class and one pastor said he’d love for her to come to teach the women in his area about 5 hours away.

Another pastor stopped Marg to tell her what a wonderful job Jerry is doing and begged for us to come to Kenya, especially for him to preach.  Jerry preached the first of the evening sermons last night and will fill that spot again tonight, it is a hard one right after dinner and after a whole day of hearing other sermons and teaching.

Thankful to be serving with you in Uganda,
Jerry & Marg
