Dear Redeemer Family:
I am glad for this day without responsibilities as I was told that the third day is often when Jet Lag hits you and it has.
But I was able to finish up my message for tomorrow and the internet was working so I was able to Skype with Marg.
The Hokes have been taking great care of me as you can see by this picture of my lunch prepared by Cheri of delicious Nile Perch and wonderfully prepared green beans.
As some of you know the second week here I plan to do some investigating into the possibility of helping graduating pastors begin “tent making” businesses with micro-finance and micro-loans and by God’s grace was able to get together with Tim Hoke in the middle and two other men to discuss their pro’s and con’s in Africa.
Lord willing, early to bed tonight to be ready to preach at tomorrow.
As always, only by God's grace,
I was so glad we got to Skype this morning! Tell Tim and Cheri thanks for taking such great care of you! Love, Marg
Looking great, Pastor! Pleased you made it safe and sound.
It is a joy to have Jerry here! His sermon regarding joy even in trials was spot on for believers in Africa this morning. We are so grateful to Redeemer for loaning us your pastor. You are always so gracious!
Tim and Cheri
